The Pod Hotel, 230 East 51st street, NY
I spent 13 nights in the trendy Pod Hotel and I am more than satisfied.
This Hotel is perfectly situated in Midtown East and close to everything by feet or subway!
From the JFK airport about one hour to Lexington Ave 53rd street (airtrain and E train from the Jamaica Station). In just 20 minutes you will be in Brooklyn (1 change at 14th street / Union Square to the L train).
The neighbourhood is great and safe (a lot of bars and cafés around the corner).
The Hotel staff is friendly and helpful.
The shared bathrooms are always clean and you get new towels and fresh bedding every day.
In the room you can see with a light monitor what bathroom is free or occupied (good concept for shared bathrooms!).
You have WiFi access, TV and a sink in the room. The rooms are simple and small, but if you are in NY, you will never spend much time in a hotel.
When I come back, I will definitly book this hotel.

Die Adresse merkich mir. Nachdem ich täglich deine Homepage verfolge, bin ich jetzt auch ganz scharf drauf, nach NY zu kommen... So eine Hammer-Stadt. Mir kommt Paris schon ganz "winzig" vor.

Hi hi :-) das preisleistungsverhältnis vom hotel ist auch echt gut. Paris kann man nach NY echt vergessen. Man fühlt sich dort sehr wohl und sicher und die Leute sind ganz allgemein auch viel freundlicher. lg und bis bald! Andrea
